Hannahs at Seale-Hayne is an amazing place for the community, for people of all abilities, where they can train, learn, have fun and fulfil their true potential without judgement or limit.
Hannahs at Seale-Hayne was opened in 2010 as an innovative and ground-breaking solution to the complete lack of appropriate facilities for people with disabilities once they reach adulthood. This project is an amazing place for the community, for people of all abilities, where they can train, learn, have fun and fulfil their true potential without judgement or limit. A place of true integration and imagination. A place where disability is incidental.
"Hannahs acquired a 90 acre site at Seale-Hayne in December 2009. After months of sorting out 5,000 keys, frozen pipes, leaks, and clearing the grounds, we opened our sustainable vibrant community to the public in May 2010. So far, every one of the ideas and visions we had for Hannahs at Seale-Hayne has been realised. There’s an outdoor pursuits centre, recording studios, sensory music rooms, farm, gallery, bistro, workshops, vocational courses and learning placements. It’s a passion infused creative space abundant in opportunities for all abilities."
"A lot of people say Hannahs grabs you and wraps its arms around you. Seale-Hayne is a magical place that is creating something special."
